Most people know that movies and real life have very little in common. Movies are filled with exciting moments that are designed to heighten your emotions during carefully crafted moments in order to incite certain responses.
Real life, however, isn’t so exciting. If we were to take our lives and put it into a movie, there would be a lot of editing. (Which frankly, that’s okay, because I don’t need to see people using the restroom.)
But there’s one specific aspect of making a movie that can be very similar to real life.
When the editing team is editing the movie, they have to cut out a lot of content in order to make the movie flow and tell the proper story. I heard an interview once that said when they start to cut out their favorite parts, that’s when they know the movies getting really good.
So it can be with real life. In order to keep ourselves working on the things that are the most important to you our own personal stories, we have to cut out the things we love.
This has been my situation the last 6 months. Since my marriage in July, my life has been filled with so many wonderful, amazing new storylines. But I’ve had to cut out a couple of my favorite things, like blogging and my podcast.
I do hope soon that a couple of these new storylines in my life will fade soon and I will have more time to bring back those loves into my life.
In the meantime, I am still taking clients and holding classes. Reach out for a free consultation at heididavies.youcanbook.me.
